Sarah Godden has worked with some of the most successful acts, labels and artists in Australia. With a list of credits from Australian Idol winners to platinum selling artists Andrea Bocelli, Delta Goodrem and Vanessa Amorosi, she is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, engineer and producer. Equally at home writing country tinged ballads or earthy folk as she is creating pieces for film and tv or infectious tween rock songs, there are no genre limitations for her when it comes to creating a marketable piece of pop.
Based in Melbourne Australia, she has worked extensively in Europe and Asia, with her songs appearing on platinum selling albums in Scandinavia (Maria Arredondo - Not Going Under, Norway), hit movie soundtracks in the U.K (Fox Searchlight’s ‘Confetti’) and even fashion advertising campaigns in Japan (Anna Tsuchiya for Vienus Jean TVC).
Sarah is also the director of Twentysix Audio, a boutique audio production and song writing service that gives unsigned acts the chance to fine tune and record their original material in a supportive, inspiring and professional environment.
Up next for Sarah in 2010 is writing for film and tv projects in the U.S, a collaboration for a massive Australian dance release and producing and writing for a new children’s music act in Germany. It’s going to be a busy year!
"Last year was absolutely exhilarating – the chance as a professional to be able to connect with and help inspire so many talented new potential artists was just brilliant. And this year I have been lucky enough to be part of the creation of a bigger and better songwriting component for Dreaminc, I can’t wait to see what great songwriting talent we can discover in 2010!!"
