Annabelle Priftis
Welcome to the Dream Inc Music Workshops August newsletter.
This may be the first time you're hearing from us, in which case hello and thanks so much for your interest. We're incredibly excited to be bringing you the inaugural Dream Inc. event this September 18-20 at the Melbourne Town Hall and thought we'd update you on what's been happening!
NEW Guest Artist and Mentor to join our Elite Team...
We are very excited to announce a NEW Guest Artist and Mentor that will be with us for our September Workshops to be held at Melbourne Town Hall...
Jason Coleman to join our line up of Artists and Mentors
Jason's diverse talent has been in great demand since arriving in Sydney as a 17 year old in 1987. As a dancer, actor choreographer and more recently director, he has covered more show business territory than most. In fact, even if you don't realise it, you probably would have seen either Jason or his choreography on television, stage or the big screen.
Jason's music industry credits are as numerous as they are diverse. Most notable is that Jason has choreographed for , Christine Anu, Tina Arena, Sheena Easton, Chrissy Amphlet, Human Nature, Bardot, John Farnham, Chaka Khan, Vanessa Amorossi, Bee Gees, Deni Hines, Kate Cebrano, Euphoria, Toni Peron, Melissa Kautz ...the list goes on - and as a young dancer Jason even performed on the same bill as international artists like Whitney Houston the legendary Frank Sinatra.
Jason has worked as a Choreographer and Dance Consultant in stage, television, the opening and closing ceremonies for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, feature film Happy Feet and most recently as a judge of "So You Think You Can Dance - Australia."
We are looking forward to Jason joining our elite team of Mentors including Eskimo Joe, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Katie Noonan, Brooke Fraser, Ella & Jesse Hooper, James Ash and Seymour Stein.

Announcing our NEW Dream Inc Workshops Ambassador...Annabelle Priftis
Annabelle is delighted to be an Ambassador for Dream Inc because being a vocal artist and a songwriter is her first love. Annabelle has been captivating audiences for years with her honest interpretations of songs both original and covers. She loves songwriting, both as a form of unique expression but also to learn and study music. Being with people who share her passion for music makes her happy. Just lately she has began to compose arrangements for her school orchestra which has enhanced her ability to musically communicate.
I am really looking forward to Dream Inc. It's a chance to meet record company exec's, successful performers and industry professionals who may be able to help me advance to another level.
I feel very lucky to have had small successes within Australia and I am hoping one day to have an international entertainment career. Why not, that's what Dream Inc is all about... Making dreams a reality in a positive way. I will borrow my school motto here to say, If you don't dare to dream you can never have the courage to 'Dare to Try'. There will be no negative, humiliating, slamming of budding artists at Dream Inc! I am hoping Dream Inc's values will become the new norm and that artists will once again be seen as history makers like Lennon, Geldof, Dylan, Beethoven and Mozart. Dream Inc is all about possibilities. 'Carpe Diem' everyone!!! I hope to see you there.
Please feel free to add me on myspace.
See you all in September
Love Annabelle
Dream Inc Ambassador
Message from our Ambassador... Brooke Addamo!
Hey Everyone,
Only weeks to go to the weekend that will be life changing for all of us.
It just gets better and better with elite mentors like Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Jason Coleman added to the line up since my last writing.
I keep getting asked "what I'm personally looking forward to most at the workshops" and I have to say the NETWORKING that will be available.
Opportunities to make contact with overseas and local a&r's, established artists, developing musicians and singers just like me loving what it is that we do - SING.
Personally I want to welcome on board my joint ambassador Annabelle Priftis.
For those of you that don't know Annabelle, check out her myspace and find out for yourself to see all her beauty, talent and achievements.
They speak for themselves and you wouldn't think possible from someone so young.
Thank you for all the messaged questions I have received through my myspace and hope the information I have provided has assisted your enquiries.
Please feel free to contact me via MySpace about anything and I will only be happy to share any information with you.
Hopefully I will get to meet and catch up with everyone.

Message from Michael Parisi...
Hi there,
I'm so excited about the upcoming Dream Inc Workshops that I felt compelled to write to you all. It really isn't that far away and while there is still much work to do, I know that those involved in our inaugural event are going to be a part of something 'ground-breaking', a part of music history!
David Jaanz and I, along with our partners at IMG, have worked tirelessly in the past year to make the workshops a reality. It really is a 'dream come true' for all involved, particularly as there has never been an event of this magnitude and nature staged anywhere in the world. I know that there are many music courses and music schools on offer in this country but none which offer the services of established artists as mentors. We are thrilled to have the likes of Eskimo Joe, Nat Bassingthwaite, Katie Noonan, Ella and Jesse Hooper, James Ash and Brooke Fraser on board to help teach and motivate our participants. Where else in the world could you have the opportunity to have such artists giving you a real insight in to how to sing, songwrite and perform? I know that all of the artists are so excited about their involvement. Kav, from Eskimo Joe, has, for example, designed and written his own special lesson in songwriting for our event. It is something he has never done before! In more exciting news, we have also just confirmed that Jason Coleman from "So You Think You Can Dance" will be giving a fantastic lecture and lesson on contemporary dance. This is big news!!
On top of the artists, we will also be graced with the presence of some of the most important music industry figures in this country and, indeed, the world. Seymour Stein, the legendary American music executive, who has signed the likes of Madonna and The Veronica's, will be in attendance to not just deliver a key note speech about the industry but to also be on the lookout for talent. We're hoping he discovers the next Madonna. He will be joined by members of all the major record company's who will be roaming around throughout the three days to determine who they give our development deals away to!
There are only four weeks to go until the workshops and spaces are filling fast. If you haven't already registered, I suggest you go to www.dreaminc.com.au and take the plunge.
I can't wait to see what the 3 days bring but a few things are for sure.
1. You are going to learn so much
2. You are going to meet new people
3. You are going to have fun!
See you at the Workshops..
Peace,
Michael Parisi
