Frequently Asked Questions

Q. If I’m over the age of 30 years can I sign up?

A. Yes of course. Our Master Classes are suitable for anyone from 10 years of age.

Q. What if my child is under 10years of age?

A. Unfortunately we can only accept students that are 10 years and over. You can sign up to our email newsletter or follow us on Facebook to be notified when new Workshops are announced in the future.

Q. Am I as a parent able to accompany my child to the Master Class?

A. Unfortunately no, Parents are not allowed into the Master Class. We will have teachers providing adult supervision for all Dream Inc participants through out the day. No student under the age of 18 years of age will be allowed to leave the event during anytime of the day without a consent note from their parents.

Q. Is it a requirement to have had singing or music lessons in the past?

A. Our Master Classes are designed to cater for anyone from a Beginner who has never had lessons to the professional singers either gigging or teaching.

Q. What if I’m currently enrolled in another singing or music school?

A. We believe that our Master Classes will build on your current or past training, so no matter if you’ve had or you are having lessons currently we believe you will be able to learn something out of these workshops.

Q. Do I need to be able to play a musical instrument?

A. No. The only time you will be able to accompany yourself is in your performance time. We suggest if you play guitar to bring it along with you or you can use our keyboard. If you don’t play an instrument its fine – you will just do your performance a Capella (without music). NO BACKING TRACKS can be used in any performance.

Q. What do I need to bring with me on the day?

A. If you play guitar we recommend that you bring along your acoustic guitar (that has a pick up to plug into a stage DI) so that you can use this for your performance. All participants will be reminded what to bring in the lead up to the event.

Q. What times will I be required to attend the Master Class?

A. The Master Class will run from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Note that registration commences at 9am and all students must be registered by no later than 9:45am. We require all parents that will be dropping off and picking up their children to be on time.
